This poem popped into my mind complete as it is, even how to format it up when a friend I was with reached down to pick up a penny someone had dropped on the ground and disregarded.
I've always been an artist at heart. Living in the southwest United States I have always been intrigued by the lives of the peoples that have lived here before modern man came along. I hail from Farmington, New Mexico and a lot of my artwork is based on the prehistoric designs that I can walk out my back door and find on ancient pottery or as pictographs painted on rocks by the ancient peoples that are no longer here.I also do modern themed artwork as can be seen here. I'm not just a painter though. I am also a microlithic architectural sculptor, my medium being the ancient sandstone found where I live.
