This is a poppy that came up on it's own this year in front of my greenhouse. This has never grown here before and it is a mystery poppy but is sure is a beaut! If someone knows what it's called let me know.

I've always been an artist at heart. Living in the southwest United States I have always been intrigued by the lives of the peoples that have lived here before modern man came along. I hail from Farmington, New Mexico and a lot of my artwork is based on the prehistoric designs that I can walk out my back door and find on ancient pottery or as pictographs painted on rocks by the ancient peoples that are no longer here.I also do modern themed artwork as can be seen here.
