About Doug Miller

I've always been an artist at heart. Living in the southwest United States I have always been intrigued by the lives of the peoples that have lived here before modern man came along. I hail from Farmington, New Mexico and a lot of my artwork is based on the prehistoric designs that I can walk out my back door and find on ancient pottery or as pictographs painted on rocks by the ancient peoples that are no longer here.I also do modern themed artwork as can be seen here. I'm not just a painter though. I am also a microlithic architectural sculptor, my medium being the ancient sandstone found where I live. I create very detailed sculptures that resemble the ancient cliff dwellings and ruins that are found at world renowned archaeological...
